Corporate and Business Art Classes

If you want something different as a team building exercise, a meeting ice-breaker or a corporate conference break-out session, I have the ideal solution to help the day get energized!

My easily affordable creative art sessions will put your team members in a relaxed and creative mood so that they can participate constructively and positively in your work place.

My sessions encourage creativity and mindfulness, relaxation and calm, and, most of all, team bonding. Most, if not all, of the materials are included in the cost of the package. All you need to do is provide me with a space and some willing participants!

Packages start at £350 but will be subject to change based on distance to travel, any additional materials needed, and the number of participants taking part. There is an absolute maximum of 40 participants for any one session, for any one package. Participants listed below are a recommendation but can be negotiated. Business Package 1 - Hand print fantasy worlds

Session length: 2 1/2 hours

Session cost: £350

Participants: Between 3-40 people

For this art class I will bring high quality art materials to your venue and set up a 2ish hour art session with your employees. These materials will include watercolour paper, paint, paint brushes, artists pens, cleaning supplies such as wipes and toilet roll, thank you packs, cups, as well as any individual items requested by you that will be chargeable. The price also covers my time and any incidental costs for this type of session.

This art class covers mindfulness and will be set up to encourage relaxation and creativity. I will provide examples of my own art work for each individual table or group within the class.

These classes work best when placed in groups of between 5-10 people to one table. In this class I will show you how to transform your own hand print into a unique fantasy landscape using only paint and pens. For the less creatively inclined I also provide a ‘no excuses jar’ filled with ideas to get people started. These are extremely fun to do and I’ve had very positive feedback from previous sessions.

At the end of the sessions we will hold a mini gallery exhibition whereby participants will walk around the room and enjoy looking at other people’s artwork. This encourages conversation, participation and socialisation with each other. The aim is to get everyone laughing and experiencing something new, which in turn will promote mental well being in your work environment.

Business package 2 - Notebook/Sketchbook ‘Scrap Journaling’

Session length: 2 1/2 hours

Session cost: £600

Participants: 5-40 participants

Junk journaling and scrap-booking are very much in the same vein of crafting, but both have very unique ideas in their activity that provide different results. To get the best of both worlds, I have crafted a course dedicated to both. Scrap journaling is creating a place in which to tailor your own note taking experience. This class aims to teach participants how to journal, be that in a very organised bullet journal style or in a more free junk journaling method. Each book will end up being tailored and unique to the person that makes it, creating a fantastic opportunity for creativity to flourish and for participants to think outside the box with their ideas.

There’s thousands of ways to make a journal your own using the junk journaling method and best of all, its recycling friendly. These journals or scrapbooks can be used for anything, its up to the individual. It could be your next appointment book, or client book. It could be where you put your best ideas or just scribble down notes for the day. These journals are whatever you make them to be!

In this session I will provide each participant with a blank A5 notebook, which will become your scrap journal. I will provide multiple materials and crafting supplies for everyone to use to create their perfect journal. I’ll bring some examples along for ideas, and will encourage everyone to get as creative as they can with what they put in this blank books. Write on the front, draw in the margins, doodle on the back cover, stick reminders in, use it as a bullet journal, use it as a place to put your thoughts, whatever you like. One of the biggest positives of this course is it encourage employees to think creatively. Thinking outside the box of conventional reasoning, create something you wouldn’t usually make, and consider all the possibilities with the materials you have at hand. And at the end, you have a useful journal to take home and use as you like.

This course can be made specific to your organisation as well. If you want to provide your employees with a book for meeting notes, or something more specific, I can tailor the class around that specific aspect in mind as long as I have prior notice.

This class will typically last for about 2 1/2 hours. It is encouraged that you provide snacks for your employees as creating art can be hungry work!

Business Package 3 - ‘Bad Art’ painting

Session length: 3

Session cost: £500

Participants: Between 1-25 people

This package centers around purposeful creating ‘bad art’. We spend all our days trying to be perfect, and not make mistakes, and for artists or creatives this can lead to a lot of stress. This class is intended to encourage letting the fear of mistakes go. We will purposeful make bad art on canvases, using acrylic paint, posca pens, fine liners, glue, glitter, pencils, chalk, crayons, and anything else we can get our hands on. This session will last for approximately 4 hours with a 15 minute break in the middle. I encourage you to provide snacks and drinks for your team.

The point of this exercise is stress relief. I want to encourage messy play, channeling your inner child to just have fun with the art rather than thinking about where the right or wrong place is for each aspect.

The price also covers my time and any incidental costs for this type of session.
