Trigger Warning is a very special painting to me as I made it during a depressive episode. I am diagnosed with PTSD (Or PTSR more accurately), Depression and Anxiety. I've struggled with these issues for years but I've managed to grow despite these challenges and become more myself than I ever thought I could. This painting is a depiction of the mental health struggles I go through on a daily basis. The chains that I fight against to free myself, even for a second, from that daily torture of poor mental health. I'm doing okay now, but underneath it all this is what I deal with. I know a lot of people with mental health problems also suffer this sort of feeling so I'm pleased to be able to represent it in images for people like me.
